About Us
The
house has been carefully restored to retain all the original features
including the magnificent oak roof timbers and thick stone walls. The
addition of new oak and pine furniture perfectly complements the
structural timbers and presents a warm, comfortable interior. The three
guest bedrooms are all situated on the first floor and furnished in a
similar manner with clean, neutral tones and solid wooden floors. There
are two double rooms (each with a private shower room) and one twin
bedded room. Please note that some of the roof timbers are low. The
family bathroom is on the ground floor. You will also find a
comfortable sitting area on the first floor (games, jigsaws, DVDs
available). 
Outside we have an extensive shady garden and a delightful terrace, a hammock slung under the shade of the acacia trees and several deck loungers for complete relaxation. Covered car parking is available at the front of the barn, essential when the weather is hot.
We have an assorted collection of pets - dogs, cats and horses (abandoned or retired). We are not a working farm and our pasture is grazed by horses.

B&B and meal options:
Breakfast
Breakfast can be served in the dining room or on the terrace and typically consists of fruit juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, croissants, home-made jams and preserves, and tea or coffee.
Supper
A two course evening meal can be provided on request at a cost of 20 euros per head (includes wine and coffee). A typical meal would be tarragon chicken with roasted potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables (from the garden if available) followed by a cheese course and tarte au citron. We can also cater for vegetarians.
